About Us

Brooke Glazer, RD

I love to eat – I say “mmmm” after every bite, I double dip and I’m not afraid to try something new. When I am not working, I am doing whatever I can to explore LA and all of the great food it has to offer.

As a born and raised Chicagoan, the perfect LA weather has me cherishing every day outside. I love to hike, ride my bike and swim in the ocean, especially when Melissa comes along.

I’ve been in California since 2009, moving here to start a private practice and work at the Eating Disorder Center of CA. I specialize in eating disorders, intuitive eating and medical nutrition therapy. Having overcome an eating disorder in my past, I understand the power of eating disorders and am empathetic to those who struggle with food.

I received my dietetic degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. I can’t imagine spending my life doing anything else besides sharing my passion for life and food with others.

Recovering from an eating disorder isn't easy – in fact, it is probably one of the hardest things anyone can do. With my professional and personal experiences, I truly believe that FULL recovery from an eating disorder is possible!

I attended UC Santa Barbara for my Bachelor’s degree and completed my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, Santa Barbara. I am a primary therapist at the Eating Disorder Center of CA and previously worked at Monte Nido residential treatment center, both owned by Carolyn Costin. I see clients in private practice as well, so I really get the chance to help clients in all points of recovery.

I grew up and have lived in Southern California all of my life. I have a huge, tight knit family who I adore and spend tons of time with. I love hiking, being outside and going to the beach or farmer’s markets, traveling and spending time with my friends – many of the above include Brooke
